Every Christian would benefit from developing a firm foundation to start their Christian journey. We need to learn a new language by studying the word of God and articulate basic information about our Christian vape. As Christians, we should be sure of God‘s love for us that we never stop serving him. We also need to understand that we are members of a Christian family that extends around the world.

The basic training guide is not enough to equip you for your entire journey, but it is a start for creating a firm foundation.

Minister Donna Rowlette

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind!

Donna Rowlette is an associate minister at Set the Captives Free Outreach Center (STCFOC), a non-denominational Christian church located in Woodlawn, Maryland where Pastor Linwood and Apostle Dr. Karen Bethea are the pastors. Minister Donna is devoted to informing people that they must go through a biblical transformation process to become Christ-like.

Her mission is to inform Christians that Christ-like thinking must be intentionally cultivated. That cultivation process is achieved via reading, studying, and applying the word of God. Minister Donna is a servant leader who loves to teach Bible study.

She served 25 years as a police officer and 20 years in the military (mostly as a citizen soldier). Today, Minister Donna is the owner of Welcoming Heart Group Home where she helps to provide a healthy, clean, and safe place for people to call home.

1 Corinthians 3:6 (NIV) states, “I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow.” When Minister Donna was about to graduate from high school, she felt hopeless. Fortunately, Minister Donna had a high school teacher who saw something in her that she did not see in herself. The teacher enrolled Minister Donna in a program called SANDELS which was sponsored by and held at the College of Notre Dame, now Notre Dame of Maryland University.

Although she was ill prepared, Minister Donna attended the program and earned her very first college credit in Story & Film with one of her lowest college grades ever, a “C.” That “C” was a seed planted in rocky soil but sure enough, God has been making it grow.

Thanks to that seed planted, Minister Donna went on to earn an Associate of Arts degree in General Studies and an Associate of Applied Science degree in Criminal Justice from Catonsville Community College. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Technology and Management from the University of Maryland University College. Minister Donna earned a Master of Science degree in Management from Johns Hopkins University and a Master of Arts degree in Ministry from Lancaster Bible College.

If asked, Minister Donna will quickly say that her degree in Management equipped her to improve processes while her degree in Ministry equipped her to serve people.
